Kimarie turns as App suddenly leaps to his feet. She frowns, watching him wander to the teacher's desk, take a pass and bolt for the door. She was already on her feet, and heading over to grab a pass of her own. App didn't look too good, and he definitely showed it. Grabbing a pass of her own, she ran to the door and slid out.
"App?" She called quietly, closing the door and peering about. "Hey App!" She calls again. "Where are you?" She had her doubts that he was actually running off anywhere; but she was uneasy about that thought too. He could be actually really sick, or just faking it. She frowned, looking down both ends of the hallway; wondering where he went.

**App freezes, and whirls around, hearing his name. His face clearly reads a mix of fear and annoyance. quietly, he contemplates whether to let her know where he is, or whether to walk away. Suddenly though, his body catches his mind off guard, and he turns, and takes a step, to see Kimarie.** What? **The word comes out a bit harsher then it was supposed to, and so he adds.** I mean... what do you need? **He bites his lip and decides to minimize the carnage by just shutting up. He takes another step towards her, and tries to look as normal as possible. Not that he really succeeds.... The faintest noise of music reaches his ear through the classroom door, and he steps back again. Normal. Normal... must. act. normalllllll..... He thinks to himself, waiting for Kimarie to come up to him and realize he's a total freak.**

He was acting: odd, different, and it was slightly strange to see. Kimarie frowned, her head tilting to one shoulder slightly, he was acting strange; maybe even slightly weird. But then again, he seemed frightened, nervous, and slightly aqward.
She jogged over to him; curious. "Are you alright? You seem a little... edgy... you kinda bolted from the classroom really quick..." She trailed off, studying his face for a little while before looking back down at her toes. Great. Now she was feeling slightly edgy. It was stupid for her to come rushing out like that. App had his buisness, and she had no reason to butt into it.
"S-sorry..." She muttered. "I sh-shouldn't have butted in..." sHe hesitated. Oh well. What the heck. "I'm not really a 'people' person....just thought that-" She stopped again. Great. Now she was a major idiot. she could speak to people once she knew them, like Simon, and the Hangman's tree, but that was a plant, and Simon was a magician. They were friends. Other people were just road blocks or obsticles at times...

**App's face falls at Kimarie's reaction. Great. He'd handled that wonderfully. He takes a step towards her, and replies.** Sorry. I didn't mean to sound so harsh. **He looks around him. No teachers, no students. He's gonna like this school.** I did kinda run out. **He looks around again, feeling awkward. Should he tell her he hates that song? There could be regular reasons to it.. but not this much. He'll just shut up about that. Trying on a grin, he shrugs.** Idunno... sometimes, class just... gets to you, you know?? **Wow.... fail sentence there. He shrugs again, and looks up at her, trying to grin.**

Kimare noticed that the hall seemed to be quite empty. This school really as slow. time seemed draggy here: which was she skipped most of the time to draw by the hangman's tree. He apollogized for something, but she didn't acknowledge it. It seemed kinda distant.
She looked up at App and nodded. "I know exactly how you feel. Most of the time I-" She cut herself off. Skipping.. ha that's a great first impression. She sighed and half smiled. "-hang out by the old Hangman's tree..." she didn't think she had to go furthur.
"It's where I usually go to... relax you could say. Seems oddly peaceful enough... expecially when school gets to you..."

Cool. **He smiles at the name. Old Hangman's tree? that's cool. I didn't know this town had anything that creepy about it... Except maybe the mansion but whatever... Shaking his head to break away from his thoughts, her smiles a tiny bit more, and, in a burst of fear-less-ness, asks.** You want to show me? Now? **Suddenly realizing what he's asking her to do, he grins sheepishly, and adds,** Imeannot now.... or whenever... oryeahsorrymybad.

Kimarie laughs, and she had to slap a hand over her mouth to hush herself and to not get them caught by the teachers. Hangman's Tree was her most absolute favourite place to go. At least two thirds or three-quarters of her life was spent there. Then again, she doesn't have very much else to go, other then school and home so, what ever. She smiled at App. "Yeah sure. Not too many people go there because they say it's creepy... Hope you arn't afraid of ghosts." She says slightly sarcasticly. Ghosts? at the Hangman's Tree? Those were all myths. She smiled. ((OOC: I'm at the library at school right now, XD I'll see if I have enough time to start the thread now. ))

Ghosts? **App's eyes grow bigger, and he smiles a bit. His back-fired spell makes it possible for him to see ghosts- as if, as a trade off for never dieing, he had to see the people who had died. But it ad been almost two-hundred years since he'd seen a ghost... His thoughts flash back to memory that has somehow stayed pristine- he'd been walking through the street's of London. He'd found his role as a street urchin amidst a cruelly industrializing world. The backdrop of that whole time of memories was the same- dirty, grey, polluted, harsh. that year was particularly hard for him. Surrounded by death and corruption, insanity and sickness, his thoughts of magic had been replaced by a population of thoughts powered by steam. He'd started to believe that he was crazy, that those thoughts from almost a thousand years ago were stupidities. This was the first year he'd started having memory problems. But, the thing that had saved him from being sure he was crazy and probably becoming certifiably mad was the appearance of a ghost. It was one of those side-streets that were dirty-er then usual, and, he'd watched a white specter rise out of a huddled form curled around a bottle on the sidewalk. The ghost, ragged, and terrible looking, had taken a look at him and slurred, "so ya can see the dead then... huh... I knew I was right to not believe in that heaven hogwash..." before floating away. It had brought back his memories of his true old life, and had somehow managed to pull him out of the dirty grey background. Time had followed after that, but he was somehow able to endure it all, as if having found his head again was so great that the rest of his life could follow clearly. He'd moved around, then to Italie, Germany, back to London, then to the New World... but that was history now.... He shakes his head to clear it, and bring himself back to the present day. It had been a while since he;d seen a ghost. This would be interesting. Shaking his head again, he lets out a little laugh, trying to act like he doesn't believe in that stuff, the way everyone else in this day and age didn't.** Well, it does sound like fun... Let go then! ooc: sorry for that long rambling post there xD hope it's not too bad to read
