~~ Were you to have dared to ener the Nevermour house, you might also dare to look at it's many rooms. If you chose this one, then you would enter through a squeeky dfoor to flying dust. After all, Little Girl's, or Felicity's room was locked after her death, and it was only many years later, when The Captain was able to coax her into opening it from the inside, that it finally saw fresh air. The floor is hardwood, under a layer of grey, which is dotted with skeletal footprints. A child-sized bed takes up most of the room- it's a naice one, with white trim and faded yellow blankets. A dresser, white turned yellow sits in the corner, with some statuets on it. Looking closer, you'd see that they were ballerinas, and dancers, carved out of wood, or made out of porcelain. Othe rthen that, it's really just another kid's room. Dolls line the back of the no-longer-used bed, and tiny dancer costumes are hung up in the closet. Of course, if you've noticed all this, you've stayed here far longer then most people. The room reakes of sadlness and dreams cut short.... of things that could have happened but were cut off by a particularly cruel twist of fate. ~~

**A white mist seeps into the room from the gaps in the floorboards, sending dust flying as is slowly fills up the space. After a few moments, the mist gathers around one spot on the floor, outlining the shape of a teenage boy. After much moaning and coughing, said boy rolls over onto his back to try to take in his surroundings. Before he has much of a chance to check anything out through the dust (the mist appears to have been consumed when he finished to take form), he looks down. Hydan, now clearly recognizable, gasps and flails his arms as he realizes he is slowly drifting up from the ground. Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately), no amount of flailing will get him back to the ground. Having attained about one foot of altitude, he stops rising, and attempts to stand. Easier said than done, when you don't have the ground to push off of, but he still manages to get to his feet, and looks around the room. There is one small window through which sunlight is streaming in, and Hydan lifts up his hand to block out the light so he can see better. However, ghosts aren't very good at blocking light, and when Hydan looks at his hand and realizes that is is almost totally see-through, the shock is so great that he shrieks and passes out, still staying about a foot above the ground.**

**This whole spectral spectacle is witnessed by another, much smaller ghost. In fact, Hydan's "spirit" chose to appear just as Little Girl, the usual inhabitant of this room, was walking around. The tiny ghost watches with scared and surprised eyes the rise of this new ghost. She may be one as well, but she still has the mind of a seven-year-old. So, Little Girl lets out a shriek to equal Hydan's and flies out of the room, going through both Hydan's inanimate, though floating body, and the unopened door. Out of the room, she tries to calm herself, the way a little kid does, and floats off to find The Captain.**

~~~~A little Bit Later~~~~
The Captain frowns as he sences Little Girl's urgency. Something at the back of the inside of his hollow skull seemed to rub uncomfortably as if someghost had shoved a porcupine in his head cavity.
Glancing at M/13 he frowns, and increases his pace slightly.
"What's wrong Little Girl?" The Captain asks concerndly, turning his gaze to the child.
**Little Girl just points to the door to her room, and takes a decisive step through it- something which turns out to be quite the problem, considering that she's dead scared of Hydan, and the Captain and M/13 can't walk through walls like the can. Her eyes find the fainted ghost on the ground, and she squeals, and rushes back through the door. Her little feet bounce up and down in scared anticipation and she points to the doorknob, begging the Captain to open it with her eyes.** **M/13, who has never seen a round doorknob, much less tried to open one (the doors at the lab were all straight, which made it possible for her to grasp them with her half-hands), so she doesn't bother. Instead, she stretches her nose out towards the door, and takes a deep breath. her nose wrinkles, and recoils. Under her nose flowers a most.... uninviting bouquet. On top is the smell of ancient wood and dust, then the reek of death- first the old, stale smell that clings to Little Girl, then another, overwhelmingly stronger, that she can't recognize. Her ears pin back once and for all, and she lets out a feral growl, poising herself to pounce once The Captain opens the door.**
The Captain frowns as his prediction was correct and as Little Girl dissappears into the room, shrieks, and returns. He looks down and pats her head gently and comfortingly, glances at M/13 and looks back at the door.
"We ready?" He said, more to himself and Little Girl. M/13 seemed to be way ahead of him, and in case this was indeed really bad, The Captain was greatful to have the creature here. Clearing his throat, he reached for the door nob, gently wrapping his bony ghost fingers around the nob and twisting.
Click. Creak.
Went the door as the Captain slowly pushed it open.
**Hydan 'chooses' the perfect time to 'wake up'. Opening his eyes and turning around, he waits as the world around him slowly comes to focus. When it finally does, the first thing he sees is a skeleton, then a little, see-through girl, and a weird monster. Hydan isn't entirely used to seeing walking skeletons, ghosts, or genetic mistakes, and all this is far too much for him. The ghost passes out again, still floating.**
The Captain blinks. Well, he figures he can guess why Little Girl is afraid. It wasn't normal to see a floating ghost randomly in the middle of her room. With a small sigh, he turns to M/13 and Little Girl. "It's okay... looks like we have another guest." He half smiles, then bends down face to face with Little Girl.
"Can I come in?" He asks politely.
**Little girl's head bobs up and down wildly, and she grabs the back of his coat, obviously intending to hide behind him as he faces this new person. She carefully peeks out for a moment, but is obviously just as scared of Hydan as he is of her.**
**M/13 just does her best to stop smelling the nasty scent wafting of this new person. He smells even worst then the others. so, she just sits, and waits, preferring that to going and sticking her nose in the pile of stink.**
The Captain glances at M/13 as she sits. He half smiles. 'Must smell terrible and musty in this place for her...' He thought to himself.
"You're welcome to stay out here, or wander around if you would like." He smiles down at the creature, and without another moment, he took a deep breath and slowly entered the room.
Walking over to this strange new ghost, the Captain delicately places a hand on his shoulder. "It's alright.... we're not going to harm you.... are you awake?"
**Hydan's eyes flutter open, but the site that greets him is, once again, not the most reassuring. Now the skeleton is leaning over him, and has his hand on Hydan's shoulder. Hydan hears the skeleton talk to him, but is too busy screaming and passing out again to actually hear what the skeleton has to say.**
"Davy Jones' locker..." The Captain said quite frustratedly. "That hurt." He says, rubbing his forehead. The screaming had seemed to echo around his head cavity, and his eyes seemed as if they wanted to pop out. With a small sigh, he backed away a little bit and rubbed his chin. "Let's get him out of your room, Little Girl, maybe he'll feel better in a more comfortable position then... floating, hmm? Besides, he can't just barge into your room, can he Little Girl?"
He said with a small smile to the child. Taking one of Hydan's feet, he gently tried pulling him to see if he would budge.
((OOC: I take it he does? ))
Being gentle, slow, and carefully, he took Hydan out of Little Girl's room and into the hallway...
OOC: Works for me!
**Hydan didn't really pass out after the last scream. He just wanted a little time to figure some stuff out about said skeleton before jumping right in and saying anything stupid. And although he doesn't particularly like being dragged by the foot, it has become rather clear the skeleton doesn't want to hurt him. Hydan starts thinking now that he is sure his 'life' isn't threatened.**
ooc: meet you guys there.
**M-13 nods, then does something like a shrug. She doesn't mind staying for now. When the ghost screams though, she lowers herself into a defending position, and lets out a snarl that sends little girl, squealing, through the nearest wall. Her nose wrinkles in surprise as the ghost falls back over, and the eases up a bit. apparently he's in no state to attack her with that kind of noise again. Instead, she watches Little Girl fade back through the wall and to the Captain's side, apparently pretty shaken up for one day...**
**Little girl nodds, her eyes wide and serious, responding to The Captain's question. She doesn't make a move to touch the stranger though, instead watching her "father"drag him out, her expression calculating. They could find a better place for him... yes, that would be good. As the ghost gets dragged out, she follow hesitantly walking around the spot where he materialized- as if that spot would still be tainted with... him.**
The Captain gently pulls Hydan out of the Little Girl's room. He took a steady breath and once they were out in the hallway, he let go. This had never really happened to him. Most ghost appeared at the door, from the backyard... but never through the floorboards. He was curious to know what this person remembered; but for now.It would have to wait.
"You can sit up and put you feet on the floor now." He said carefully. "You've probably guessed, but I'm afriad to say that you are deceased. I and the Captain of the Dead, most people call me Captain, and I welcome you to the Nevermore House."
