"Yeah..." App breathes with a smile. H goes and sits next to a tree, patting the spot next to him, indicating she should come sit down. the dirt's a bit wet, but, with most of it covered by the tree's leaves, it's okay. He stares off into space, still smiling, and imagining his old world. And what she would do if he only could tell her...

Kimarie smiles, and follows him to the spot by the tree. She sits next to him, wincing slightly as the leaves are damp and cold beneath her. She could almost feel as if the ground were like the bodies of the ghosts... cold, clammy, and dead. She felt goosebumps tickle the back of her neck, and she rubbed them away. Smiling, she looks at the Nevermore Mansion in the distance, still half believing she was almost there...

"Well have to go in someday..." App sighs, before suddenly realistic, what he sounds like. "I mean, in a while, if you feel like it or whatever..." He adds, his words coming out a bit too fast. He doesn't want to scare her away. Not to mention, if they go in, and there's ghosts that know they're dead... that might be a bit more of a problem.

Kimarie grins.
"That would be the coolest ever." she smiles. But her smile faulters, adn she looks at him. "You sure next time you won't collapse and get yourself rescued by a crazy soldier ghost?"
Her faultered smile quite turns itself into a mocking halfsmile as she stuggles to hold back a laugh. But the thing was... what if there were ghosts that weren't ghosts... like... zombies or wolves... or even vampires... That would be a little nerve-racking.

App chuckles, looking towards the house. "Nah, not planning on having that happen again!" And he really doesn't. whether or not he actually has control over it is something else entirely, but he's the kind of guy who believes in willpower.

Kimarie grins with a laugh.
"Oh good. You never know, we might make it half way up the stairs and you could break something if you fall down."
She instantly regretted saying it, it wasn't really... polite or nice to say something like that. What if he took offence. The thought made her frown.
"Erm... no offence or anything." She looked back to the Nevermore House.

App just laughs, taking no offence at all. "Well who knows, maybe that way some other ghost'll come out to help me!" He glances at the house too, before checking his watch. "hmm... i think it might be time to go. it's already pretty late." He glances about, and, with a teasing smile adds, "And I sure wouldn't want to be here when it gets real dark!!"

Kimarie's face pales slightly. More ghosts. Night time. Right. She blinks, then nods in agreement.
"Yeah my mom's gonna flip if she figures out I've been out late out here." She stuck her tongue out in annoyance before smilling.
"I'll see ya later then?"

"Yup..." He begins to walk off in the direction of the little apartment he's been renting for himself- under his "parent's" name, of course. He almost laughs for a second, at the thought of his own mother yelling at him. She sure did quite a bit... back when he was kicked out of the apprenticeship, then when she kicked him out of the house for good. He doesn't feel bitter about it though. Looking back, it doesn't even feel as if he really knew her. What's sixteen years out of two-hundred-and-some? Not to mention, most of his childhood was spent with his father and his master. Whom he does feel kind of bitter about, because the man was a crotchety old fool. And a jealous one too. In his mind anyways. Regaining his thoughts to the present, he gives Kimarie a little wave and a grin, before heading off for good.
