~~Going up a flight of metal stairs, you arrive at the second story of the SeaBrook Mediatech. The stairs lead onto a hallway, made by two giant glass walls. Behind the first is the computer lab, with five rows of tables, four computers on each. In the back corner are some movie screens, with headphones to listen in. In between are shelves, filled with movies and computer programs, ready for use on the spot or for checkout. The other side, in the other room with glass walls, are the same computer tables. These ones don't have keyboards though, and are equipped with rather large headphones, and little red barcode scanners. They're made to scan a CD, so someone can listen to them. The walls are covered in shelves with these CDs, sorted by artist. You'll see, by each other doors, a counter, with a librarian ready to help anyone who wants to check out material, and a scattering of people working, or just spending time listening to music and researching.~~
Paul James looks up from his desk in the music department, as the clock on his computer switches to 5. He frowns for a second, then smiles thinly as two people make their appearance. Right on time.
In perfect sinc, the twins walk in, give a smile and a nod to Mr. James, before going to the Cd shelves. Without much hesitation, the select one- today, it's "The Resistance" by Muse. The two go to the first computer on the second table, as usual, and scan it. The girl picks up the headphones and puts them on, while the boy sits next to her. They close their eyes and listen.
Paul smiles. It's the same, every Wednesday. He doesn't know their names, because they never talk. the two twins, who look perfectly alike, apart from one being a boy and one a girl. They always know exactly what they're going to get, and they always sit down and listen to it, the entire CD, without doing anything else. The only thing that changes is that every other week, the other twin listens. He can't help but wonder how the other one stands sitting there, eyes closed, without listening in. But they don't seem to care. Then, once it's over, they put it back, smile at him, and leave.
Odd kids.
Aarin smiles, listening to the music. They know it might be risky to show that only one of them ever needs to listen in- that, because they're the same person, it doesn't matter, but hearing the same thing at the same time with all four ears gets overwhelming.
((uhh random post... Paul James is a free character for whoever wants him or wants to RPhim... this is really supposed to be more about Aarin xD))

Kimarie groans and as she opens up the door to the Mediatech. Normally, she loved it here. The music, the quiet peace of the books and the smell of literature and space to draw was heaven for Kimarie. Now, it was a trap.... why? School. Madness. Ugh. At least it was an interesting topic.... 'Myths and Fables'. To make things even better, she was doing the project on Seabrook and with App. This lightened her mood. At least she wasn't alone. and maybe, just MAYBE, this meant another trip to the Nevermore Mansion... if App was feeling up to it of course.
She leans up against the glass door to the computer lab, not seeing App inside. She'd wait outside for him, after all, no use sitting there clueless what to do until she knew what was up... or the 'plan' as it were. Across form her, with the CDS were two twins, and Kimarie couldn't help but look at them. One was listening to music, but the other was just sitting there with the eyes closed. They looked quite peaceful, and Kimarie wondered how long they had been sitting there. Pulling her eyes away, she looked towards the door, expecting App to walk through there any minute.

As if on command, the two twins open their eyes, and glance at ear other. Aaron removes the headphones from his ears, and in sinc as ever, the two get up, put the CD away, and then gather up their stuff. The walk out of the listening center, only to come face-to-face with Kimarie. Smiling, Erin chirps, "Hello there Kimare!" And takes a step towards the other girl, leaving her twin waiting, leaning on the glass door. It's odd for Aarin to be this sociable- usually they just stay quiet and hook on to a group to listen too. But the music has left them feeling rather outgoing, and so, here 'she' is, smiling at Kimarie, waiting to see what'll happen.

Kimarie grins. "Erin! Hi!"
Kimarie gets off the glass door and smiles happily. Normally she never really talked to these two, and she'd seen them occasionally at school. Always together. Erin was like Kimarie in a sence, by the fact that she stayed away from the hugest croud and stuck to her own personal stuff... like drawing.
"How are you?"

"Oh, not too bad... Just came to listen to music here, we do every Wednesday." Aarin replies, not realizing that it was the other body who'd just been listening to music. Oh well. It was a detail, not like anyone would really realize it. They move their second body a bit closer, to stand next to the first, practically subconsciously. Just because they can be apart doesn't mean they like it. "what about you?" Erin says, making sure it is Erin, and not Aaron. Dang these conversations were difficult when they were tired. Aaron takes a step back again, this time walking back into the listening center. With a sigh he sits down. Might as well start their homework. Pulling out a sheet at random, Aarin looks at the name- Erin. It wasn't as if it mattered who's homework they started. Erin doesn't even turn as her twin walks away, just waiting for Kimarie. The action might be rude, to just walk off without telling, but, when you know where you're going, why say it out loud?

Kimarie smiles. Every wednesday... does that mean that they'd been here a while, seeing how Aaron was the one listening to the music at the moment. Odd. Oh well.
"Here to start the project... 'Myths and Fables'..." She says dramaticly. "Ugh. But that's okay. Hopefully it won't take long..."
She was about to say hello to Aaron, but he had left as soon as he had approached, so she watched him go with a flick of her eyes, before mentally shrugging it off.
"What are you guys writting about?"

"Ummmm.... " they hadn't exactly looked at the project yet. in the back of their mind, Aarin remembered being assigned it, but what it was.... Erin scratches her chin, trying to remember, while Aaron roots through his backpack. He finally pulls the sheet out of the binder it was supposed to be in, and reads it. "Oh yeah! We have European Folktales and Fairytales." She shrugs. "I suppose all this would be a whole lot more interesting if we actually believed in the stuff." She sighs, shrugging again. After all, they might be a special case, but other wise, they didn't believe in 'all that stuff'. Ghosts, and people back from the dead, and fairies and talking animals and talking scarecrows and dolls coming to life. It was so... childish and silly.

Kimarie smiled, not really able to hide the amusement on her face as Erin had to think about it. Personally, Kimarie felt the same way about projects... the only reason she'd remembered this one was because of the fact that it was Seabrook... and with the possibility of the Nevermore Mansion. Thinking of the day with that ghost made her heart flip in excitement, and so far, she'd been able to keep it all ot herself and App.
Her focus snapped back to Erin. "You don't really believe in it all?" She paused for a moment. "I dunno what to really believe. After all, some say it existed, and some say it didn't... so no one really knows..."

Erin shrugs, "I mean, people are free to believe whatever they want..." she says quickly, hoping they haven't offended Kimarie. The girl might be a little odd, but she's nice. And she's either too nice or too oblivious to figure out or ask stuff about their condition. She was one of those people Aarin actually enjoyed talking with, not just listening too. "I just don't think it makes sense... it's just not... scientifically possible, you know?" they can't help but think, for a second, that they aren't technically scientifically possible either. After all, they'd done hours and hours of research on twins, and the telepathic types of links some had, or seemed to have, and all that. They'd even read stuff about the quantum exchanging of cells in people's brains; but that didn't make much sense. And yet, even after all that research, they were perfectly unable to pin down what was wrong with them, and f there were other people who were like them. They had come to the conclusion though, that it was much easier to be one mind in two bodies, then two minds in one, from what they'd read about siamese twins and split-personality disorder.

Kimarie nods, seeing what Erin was getting at.
"Yeah that makes sence." She ponders for a bit, and after a few moments she shrugs. "What about the Nevermore House? Ever been up that way?" She askes with a small half smile, and a raised eyebrow.
She definitely remembered what she and App had been through, with Fritz the crazy soldier ghost. So for her, evidently ghosts exicted for there was no way both her and App imagined the same thing at the same time...

Erin raises her eyebrows, as if Kimarie had just suggested to take a tour of the city sewers. Even across the room, Aaron's eyebrows raise up as well, and his eyes lift to glance at the two talking for a split second before Aarin manages to split the two bodies again, and refocus on doing homework with half their mind. "No, and personally, I don't see what all the fuss is about. I mean, it might be because I'm not a native, but really, I don't see the value of an old house on hill. Maybe if it was restored... but now it's just crumbling away, it'll probably be completely gone soon." The thought does make them sad, which shows through on both faces, but more by principle. You were supposed to be sad when potential historical monuments got destroyed. But in all truth, the Nevermore house had rarely beem more then a small-town curiosity to Aarin.

Kimarie was surprised by this. Most people were alarmed by the Nevermore Mansion, some didn't even want to see hear or even think about it. It was really known throughout Seabrook, and eventhough it was probably most feared in the town, it was the most talked about.. sotry wise atleast.
"I see." Kimarie nods slowly, then she shrugs. "It is really old, but it's been sitting there for ages. I think it's gonna last a really long time still..."

Erin shrugs, looking rather bored. Or, not bored, but disinterested. "Thats good then, I suppose" In truth, Aarin is loosing interest. They've never been much good at making pleasant conversation, and this one's been going on far longer then usual. Not to mention, they're trying to do homework with half their mind, a feat much easier when the other half can just listen and doesn't have to participate. Still, Kimarie's a nice person, so they try to start something new, "So, that new kid... App? What's he like?" Usually they stay faaar away from drama or girl-boy talk, but in this case, it's all they can come up with. They can't help but hope it doesn't get too awkward...

Kimarie had to think about that one. App. Normally she'd never really known Erin to talk such conversations, or really, talk at all. But they still had their conversations now and again. It was nice. Kimarie smiled.
"App? Hmm... I don't know him that well actually, he's kinda... adventurous almost. He almost seems to want to get into trouble." She gave a small laugh. Kimarie only really knew few people that went looking for trouble, one of them was herself for sure.
"What do you think of him? I've only talked to him a few times..."

"Eh, I've never talked to him at all, really... but I've heard lots of rumors." Erin shrugs, not feeling guilty about gossiping. It's not gossiping, really- all they're doing is informing. If theres's nothing malicious about it, it can't do any harm, right? "I mean, Zach was saying that he was from the big city, that hey had to move him here because he was always getting in trouble and his foster parents couldn't handle him and all that... But I don't think anything about him, really. Just another new kid, right?" And, by the expression on her face, and on Aaron's face, had Kimarie thought to look, they're telling the truth. When they say they have no opinion, they really have no opinion. "But you two seem to get along, right?" She adds, hoping she hasn't made a faux-pas with these rumors.
