Nodding, The Captain turned towards the house. He paused for a while, thinking.
After a brief moment, he turned back towards M/13's general direction. "Um. Would you prefere to go to the house? Or would you like me to bring it back here for you?"
He dared ask. At first, The captain wasn't going to ask, but he decided that this creature was nervous, in a way, but not only that, but obviously dangerous. If M/13 wanted to go inside, then he could. She would end up most likely going inside anyways if she wanted a room to sleep, but for now it was most likely best for her to be comfortable. He needed to know at least a little more about her to decide if she could go inside without shredding the few inhaibtants there.

I'll go in. **Anything to keep her mind busy, and if it kept her body busy too, even better. Just at the thought of food she tenses, and begins turning towards the house. If the house was inhabited by people like Captain, it would reek, but she'd be able to handle any attack. So, unwinding its long spine and getting onto its lean legs, she begins walking towards the house. No need to follow the ghost, she can see where she is. He movements are more rapid though, more rash, starting ton uncover her shape in the long grasses, untill, if you were looking, you could see the outline of a wolf-like shikouette, moving faster then you would think possible for something with sch an odd gait.**

The Captain watched the moving shape a little bit before following after it. Frowning, he calmed his tingling spine. Shaking his head, as if it were a small twitch, he walked through the long grass and quickened his pace to the back porch. He hadn't told M/13 that the 'cooks' were not only invisible majority of the time, but they didn't really like to be intruded upon when cooking. They cooked their meals, set them on the table, vanished, and THEN you were allowed to come and get it.
Frowning, he quickened his pace even more, gliding up onto the porch and pausing by the door. "Miss M/13, I suppose I should tell you one thing before you come inside..." His red gaze looked across the grass, waiting to actually see this .. visitor.

That makes two off us. **If this was his house, she'd need to make a serious explainnation before just showing her mutant self and eating whatever she could find in the house. slowly inching towards the porch, she calculates how to best do this. She needs the food, and is going to get it, even if this ghost decided to kick her out when he sees her. At this point, if someone gets hurt, it might as well be someone already dead. But still, he'd being kind, so there was hope that he wouldn't scream and chase her away the the first sight of her mutated being.**

The Captain chuckles, didn't he say that a few moments ago? Closing his eyes, taking a deep breath, exhaling, then opening his eyes back up and looking down at the wolf like shape in the grass.
"Note that I have seen many a monster. But there are a few that live here. Not many, most live in the Cemetery..." He nods and points with his pipe towards the half Ironbarred tombstoned area. "A few ghosts, much like myself, and a few other creatures. I've seen many a thing pass by for a little while, then move along..."
He rubed the back of his hand and sighed. "Second of all..." He rubbed his chin before putting his elbows on the table and putting his skull in his hands. "The cooks in the kitchen prefere to be alone while they get their meals ready. The poor last chap that came inside with hit with a frying pan..." He sighed. "But that's another story. So in order to get a meal without getting beaten, we tell them, then they prepare it, and then we come back inside and it's ready."
"Oddly enough. That's just they way we are..." He stood back up, and gave a small nod.

**If the Captain could see M he would have noted a perplexed, confused look. She doesn't doubt that he'd seen monsters, and that didn't change a thing. As for as she's concerned, nothing could prepare anyone who didn't know her story to the way she looked- she wasn't a monster, per se, really just a patchwork creature, one made of reality. And that what scared people. A monster from myths is a legend, something completely, made up. But a monster of themselves? who could handle that? But that's not what she's confused about. No, M is confused about the food-preparation. who prepares food? She didn't need these cooks to hunt it for her, if that's what he meant. she was perfectly fine going and killing it herself... But the Captain sounds decided. No going in the kitchens. Fine. She'd wait.** Alright... no going in the kitchens

The Captain nodded with a 'smile'. "Much appreciated. Thank you."
He noticed the fact that she hadn't comment about the monster part. What was she hiding? Surely it couldn't be that bad... could it? The pipe moved from the left side of his teeth, the the right side. He frowned, his eye sockets bringing together. "Hmm." He wondered to himself. He couldn't help but feel a little curious and edgy about her reactions. He didn't really know what to think, but he knew that he counldn't refuse or forget about his invitation.
He stood straight, and waiting for her to do something. It was all up to M/13 now.

**And, as it as up to her, she did the only thing she could- show herself. Unfurling her long body, she steps up, onto the steps of the house, one leg at a time. Now that she want's to be seen, her body seems to expand to its full size, so that the Captain is no longer so high above her. First her hands, a twisted mix a a human's, with thumbs, and an animals, adorned with talons and paw pads to walk on appear. Long leg-like arms are revealed, covered in sparse, dirt-brown fur, stretched over rippling muscles. Her long spine, bent, is brought out of the grasses by her lengthy back legs. Ribs show through here and there, and her fur is uneven, adding to the patchwork appearance. Some parts are long, some are short, and most are different colors, from deep black to dusty grey. Here and there scales are visible, poking through the fur. A long, semi-spiked crest bulges grotesquely from her back, its scales a tired green. Her long, wolf-like tail finishes of her body- one more piece of an animal added on to a body already overloaded with too many genes from too many places. Having dragged herself onto the steps, she turns to face the Captain, and, to finish off the monstrous appearance, raises her head. Two large, golden eyes with oval pupils, like a mix between a person's and cat's stare the ghost down, and the face of a tigers messily morphed with a person's looks up t him. Fangs protrude from the long muzzle, and, while there's quite a few human traces to it, theres no doubt her face is composed of a majority of tiger. Large ears tip towards him, and she tips her head, silently asking, 'Well, disgusted yet?'**

The Captain fell silent as M/13 stepped out of hiding and onto the steps of the porch. It's a good thing he had muscles... oh wait. He didn't. Bummer. The Captain had to mentally tighten his jaw on the end of his pipe to keep the whole lower half of his skull to stay physically attached. He looked M/13 up and down. His empty black eye sockets stretchign wide and the Captain was unable to hide his surprise.
A new thought came to mind. M/13. What happened?! He was silent. Silent for a long time. This ... well, to be honest, he wasn't really sure what to call it, was something ... new. Captain reached up and scratched the side of his head with a loud pop of his elbow joint. Putting his hand back down, his eyes searched M/13's face.
"Wha-" He cleared his throat. "Ahem. I mean. If you don't me asking..." He started, clearing his throat again. "Do-... Do you know of what happened to you?" He asked hesitantly. He wasn't disgustedreally, just ... confused, awed or amazed, sadenned maybe and really really surprised or shocked. It showed on his face. Most of all, curious, or in need to know who or what happened...

**M/13 sits, waiting. This is actually better then what she expected, reaction-wise. Her golden eyes search the Captain's non-existent face, reading there emotions she's felt but never seen- surprise, confusion, awe... but, even more surprisingly, not terror, nor fear. She recognizes them all with a twitch of her tail, and, now that the two being have seen each other, feels able to talk, as well as she can. But first things first. Now that she isn't hididng, she can look at him back. Her gaze roams over him... his large coat and larger hat, the stuff that appears to be very tightly curled hair going beyond his neck... his skinny, bony fingers... and his skull of a face, with that red spots for eyes. As he speaks his question, she blinks, surprised. No one asked what happened to her. Well, generally no one talked to her, but those who did pretended to not see her for what she was, pretended she was 'normal'. She wasn't quite ready to comply with such an odd question. She was hungry, and the red blur in the back of her mind was dragging her towards the inside of the house, desperate to get to the promised food. Managing to keep herself on the spot she replies.** Food first would be good. I'll talk after...

The Captain slowly nodded, his eye sockets still stretched wide. He shook his head briskly to clear it adn cleared his throat. "Right yes." Managing to keep his curiousity and wonder to a lower, patient level, he turns to the house and the back door. Hesitating for a brief moment, he shrugs and gives his shoulders a small roll before opening the door wide. Stepping inside, he walks in the old house and turns to wait for his visitor.
"Coming then? I imagine you are quite hungry!"

ooc: So should we move this to the house thread?
**Lifting her crooked body onto her too-long legs M/13 sets off, with that odd stride of hers- one that, by all logic should be just as irregular as her body, and yet manages to hold the grace of nature's predators. This time though, she's moving fast, following her keen nose to the place where she can smell meat. The food doesn't blind her though. every spot of the house is analyzed through a fighter's eyes, documented, processed. She doesn't bother replying to the Captain's question. They'll have plenty of time to talk later.**

OOC: Most likely yes.
The Captain closes the door gently, and surprisingly, follows his guest to the kitchens. He frowns, knowing that wolves have keen senses of smell. So was M/13 ... part wolf then? He rubbed his chin thoughfully, and strided after the creature. Ther was no responce to his question. This M/13 needed a place to sleep, to rest, to eat, at elast for now. He sighed, hoping nothing goes wrong and follows.

ooc: I'll let you start that thread then... since it's your house **Deeper into the house goes the creature, before stopping abruptly at a door. she's not sure if this is the kitchens or not, but it sure is the place that smells the best. turning her tiger-like face to the captain, she waits for his reaction, to know whether this is that off-limits are or not.**
